Who must be instructed according to ADR 1.3?

ADR 1.3 applies to all those involved in the transport or dispatch of dangerous goods. For example, the dangerous goods instruction must therefore be given to the employees who load or unload, as well as to the personnel of forwarders and shippers, and to the drivers of vehicles involved in the transport of dangerous goods by road.

.

Why is the instruction according to chapter 1.3 ADR so important?

Instruction is critical because improper transport of dangerous goods can result in serious personal injury and environmental damage. Accordingly, care must be taken when handling the transport of dangerous goods. Therefore, the person in charge of the dangerous goods must have a good command of ADR knowledge.

Especially for transport companies, the topic of ADR 1.3 instruction is therefore elementary. All employees who deal with dangerous goods must be instructed in their tasks. They must be familiar with the relevant dangerous goods regulations. In addition, they must be familiar with the safety precautions, know the possible risks and dangers and be familiar with the emergency measures.

The ADR 1.3 training is aimed at all employees (m/f/d) who handle dangerous goods or whose area of responsibility includes dangerous goods.

ProSafeCon is the leading provider of dangerous goods training and instruction. In addition to this ADR 1.3 instruction, we also offer you and your employees the dangerous goods battery seminars as well as the IATA dangerous goods training online.

All you need for the ADR online training is an Internet connection. Each participant receives a certificate of participation for their ADR knowledge, which is recognized by the relevant authorities or by the police in the case of vehicle inspections.
